Sony launches a pair of more affordable noise-cancelling wireless headphones-- the WH-CH710N, a set featuring what the company describes as "Automatic Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancelling" (AINC).
The noise-cancelling technique involves a pair of microphones feeding forwards and backwards to cancel out unwanted sound. Like the previous WH-1000XM3, the WH-CH710N are able to automatically switch to the ideal noise-cancelling according to the current environment, and Sony says the headphones can pick up more ambient noise. In addition, an ambient sound mode allows wearers to hear their surroundings without need to take the headphones off.
