Sonos proves recent rumours true with the announcement of the Arc, a "premium smart soundbar" capable of pushing "cinema-quality" sound through 11 high-performance drivers and Dolby Atmos support.

"Our goal is to make any room you have a television, a place you can easily enjoy all of the great streaming video and music that exists today. Arc illustrates our commitment to brilliant sound and premium design, and sets a new standard for soundbars."
The earbuds promise to fit securely in the ear through oft-cushioned arc stabilisers and a curved design, and claim to provide up to 9 hours of continuous use on a single charge with noise cancellation on (with noise cancellation turned off battery life jumps to 13 hours). Charging takes place through an included case, and Sony says a 10 minute charge powers 1 hour of music playback. Connectivity comes through Bluetooth, but it lacks support for aptX, aptX HD or LDAC.
